I have just finished exhibiting prints at the Ropewalk Gallery, Barton upon Humber where my print 'Le Petit Ecole' was highly commended in the Lincolnshire Print Open. Previous to that, I had work in the Studio Eleven Gallery in Hull along with Sheffield Printmakers.

Le Tour arrived in Sheffield yesterday - so I've added another cyclist to my series - this is Gino Bartali, the famous Italian cyclist of the 1950's.

I met Toumani Diabate before his concert at the Assembly Rooms, Leeds to present him with one of the lino prints of him from the West African Musicians series. I was there to take photographs for World Circuit records after winning their photographic competition.

I have 3 prints in the North Lincolnshire print exhibition at the Ropewalk Gallery in Barton Upon Humber.

I now have a new Hawthorn press in my garden studio, so the old mangle is relegated to the garden - where all old mangles go to die!
Here's an ongoing set of images of my first prints using a reduction method - first time I have done this. The first print is based upon a photograph of a cyclist I took on the main road in Kafountine and the second is from the 'petit ecole dans le karma' in the same village, the original photograph was a finalist in the Wunderlust travel photo of the year competition last year.
