I live in Sheffield, UK and also over the past 10 years have a winter home in Kafountine which is in the Casamance region of Senegal. Unfortunately, the COVID pandemic has stopped me from visiting during winter 2020/21.
I became more involved with printmaking when a number of local artists and I started a social enterprise called Kafountine Lino Printing. This was an initiative designed to help artists in the village to gain a wider audience through the medium of Lino printing which enabled exhibitions to be organised in the UK and France. There is a website for this which can be found here.
From time to time, I change my website to feature different pages. The current ones (as of 5th April 2021) are:
Shorelines - my current print project Diola - ongoing documentary series based in my home in Kafountine, Senegal Edges - photographs of the gritstone edges of the Derbyshire Peak District Kafountine relief prints - from the series '65 mono prints', examples of prints made in 2018 in the studio at Kafountine Books - some of my personal books I make with blurb Ceramics - I've just started with these East Side Stories - documenting buildings on Sheffields east side
