coast and sea
This series of prints has been inspired by my many and frequent drives to the east coast of Lincolnshire and Yorkshire. In particular, Spurn Point, Flamborough Head and Filey Brigg. In addition, I have also included prints inspired by scuba diving on coral reefs in the Red Sea.
The large 'coast' prints were some of the first I made whilst embarking on this one-year project and the techniques used were later developed in the Iceland series.
The Spurn Head prints used original works on paper from my 'Red Sea' series of paintings. These provided a base for over printing.
